Dr. Keesee Participates in AGU Congressional Visits Day
Dr. Amy Keesee participated in the Congressional Visits Day sponsored by the American Geophysical Union and other geoscience societies to advocate for federal funding of geoscience research. She wrote a guest post describing her experience for The Bridge, AGU's blog on science policy.



Dr. Keesee's article on fusion energy appears in AWIS Magazine
Dr. Amy Keesee wrote an article about fusion, including interviews with two women of achievement working on fusion research. The article appears in the Winter 2013 issue of the AWIS Magazine focusing on Energy, published by the Association for Women in Science. Download the article here.



Dr. Keesee Wins Buswell Award
Dr. Amy Keesee was selected by the WVU Council for Women's Concerns to receive the 2012 Mary Catherine Buswell Award for her service to women at WVU. In particular, her work as President of the West Virginia Chapter of the Association for Women in Science was recognized.
