Oct, 2017 - Kevin Pham paper published in Journal of Geophysical Research: The paper is entitled "Understanding the Mechanisms of Radiation Belt Dropouts Observed by Van Allen Probes" with authors Zheng Xiang, Weichao Tu, Xinlin Li, Binbin Ni, S. K. Morley, and D. N. Baker.

Oct, 2017 - Zheng Xiang paper published in Journal of Geophysical Research and selected for AGU Eos Spotlight: The paper is entitled "Quantifying the precipitation loss of radiation belt electrons during a rapid dropout event" with authors Kevin Pham, Weichao Tu, and Zheng Xiang.

July, 2017 - Mohammad Barani wins the best poster presentation award at GEM 2017: Graduate student in our group, Mohammad Barani, won the best poster presentation award in the Student Poster Competition at the 2017 Geospace Environment Modeling (GEM) annual meeting in Portsmouth, Virginia. GEM is one of the most prestigious meetings in the field of space physics, which is supported by the National Science Foundation.
