Dr. Haoming Liang
Dr. Haoming Liang is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Physics and Astronomy with a concentration in space plasma physics. He completed his Ph.D. at University of California, Los Angeles. His research interests lie in the area of plasma physics, including magnetic reconnection, plasma turbulence, and wave-particle interaction. He specializes in numerical simulation of magnetic reconnection in space plasma.


Dr. Derek Thompson
Dr. Thompson is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Department of Physics and Astronomy with a concentration in experimental plasma physics. He completed his Ph.D. at WVU after receiving an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. His primary research is in plasma turbulence, plasma boundaries, and diagnostic design and development. He specializes in active spectroscopy with lasers.
